Whatever it takes

Isaiah 61:3c NASB

So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

Proverbs 28:1 NIV

The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Raising Lions

1. There is only one Alpha.

1 Corinthians 11:1 NIV

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

1 Peter 2:21b NLT

He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.

1 John 2:6 NIV

Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

Romans 8:29 NIV

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

2. You can trust the Lion of Judah.

Trust His heart.  

Isaiah 40:11 NIV

He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms & carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.

Trust His ways.

Jeremiah 12:5 NIV

“If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how will you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?”

Trust His words. 

1 Peter 2:9-10 NIV

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

3. Creation waits

Romans 8:19 NIV

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
