God Really Loves Us

The message of Genesis: God has transformed our evil into something good.
Genesis 3:15, 21-23 NIV
"(To the serpent) 'And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.'
The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. And the Lord God said, 'The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever.' So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken."
Romans 5:18-19 NIV
"Just as one trespass (Adam's sin) resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act (Jesus' obedience) resulted in justification and life for all people. For just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam) the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man (Jesus) the many will be made righteous."
God disciplines His children, but He also relentlessly pursues them in love.
Genesis 15:17 NIV
"When the sun had set, and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces."
"This is what you can do to me if I don't keep my end of the deal."
2 Timothy 2:13 NIV
"If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself."
Galatians 3:7-9 NIV
"Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: 'All nations will be blessed through you.' So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith."
Galatians 3:15-16 NIV
"Brothers and sisters, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case. The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say 'and to seeds,' meaning many people, but 'and to your seed,' meaning one person, who is Christ."
God is somehow going to use this family to restore the world back to The Garden.
Genesis 28:11-12 NIV
"When (Jacob) reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep. He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it."
John 1:50-51 NIV
"Jesus said, 'You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.' He then added, 'Very truly I tell you, you will see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.'"

God really loves us!
