Circle Under God

2 Chronicles 6 -7 If we want to see repentance and change come to our schools, our nation and our families, then it must begin with us. We cannot wait for a governmental figure or a community leader to change what is our duty to change. We must follow in the warning of God from 2 Chronicles 7, and turn and seek the face of the Lord. In this message we'll look at Solomon's buildilng of and dedication of the Temple, and his plea for the Lord to turn His face toward Israel and be "with" them.

2 Chronicles 6 -7

If we want to see repentance and change come to our schools, our nation and our families, then it must begin with us. We cannot wait for a governmental figure or a community leader to change what is our duty to change.

We must follow in the warning of God from 2 Chronicles 7, and turn and seek the face of the Lord. In this message we'll look at Solomon's buildilng of and dedication of the Temple. His plea for the Lord to turn His face toward Israel and be "with" them is huge.

God says "yes" and then tells them 2 Chronicles 7:14-16 - "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there."
