Let's Gather

Hello, ladies! I’m so glad you’re here. Grab a cup of coffee or tea, and let’s have a heart-to-heart.
There’s something deeply vulnerable about stepping out of our comfort zones and trying something new. Often, we don’t give ourselves enough credit for the courage it takes to embrace the unknown. It might seem like a small thing—asking a new acquaintance to lunch, experimenting with a new recipe, or even trying a new outfit—but each act of trying something new involves a leap of faith.
For many of us, vulnerability also means doing things that push us out of our usual routines, like going to the movies alone or attending an event where we don’t know anyone. As an introvert, I can honestly say that the thought of walking into a room full of strangers can be quite overwhelming. I often find myself mentally preparing all day, gathering the energy to network and engage with others. It’s not always easy, but it’s part of how we grow and connect.
One of the things I absolutely love about the Kingsway community is the warmth and welcome that greets me every time I walk through those doors on Sunday or as I attend various events. There’s a genuine sense of belonging that makes all the difference. It’s this very spirit that we aim to capture in our Gather meet-ups.
Gather is designed specifically for women to reflect the welcoming and supportive environment that defines Kingsway. Yes, stepping into a room where you don’t know anyone can feel intimidating, but our goal is to create a space that feels inviting and comfortable. We want you to feel at ease, knowing that you’re among friends who are there to support and uplift each other.
Our Gather meet-ups are all about creating a space for women to come together, learn, and grow in a nurturing environment. There are no prerequisites or deep background knowledge required. We want everyone to feel included and valued, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey. It’s a chance for us all to connect more deeply—with each other and with the Lord.
At Gather, you’ll find opportunities to explore new topics, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships. We believe that by coming together in a supportive and low-key setting, we can all walk away feeling more connected and spiritually enriched. Each event is a step towards fostering a stronger community and a closer bond with God.
