A Student Summer

It’s almost summer and that means there are a lot of great opportunities available for our students! This time of year is always an exciting time in kstudents. As a ministry, our heart is to see our students to experience Jesus. Between school year-end celebrations, summer camps, and opportunities to serve, the spring and summer seasons come with chances to do just that in unique and fun ways. Whether it’s fun events, our regular meeting times, or just a need to connect, our team is here for you and your family. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
MIDDLE SCHOOL AMPED
This monthly event for middle school students rounds out the school year with our annual send-off for our 8th-grade students. This is an event that your students will not want to miss! Current 5th-8th grade students are invited to join us for a night of pizza, go-karts, mini-golf, duckpin bowling, arcade games, and more! Click here for more information and to register. MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP
Each summer our middle school students spend a week at Hanging Rock Christian Camp. Current 5th-7th grade students are encouraged to join us for a week they won’t soon forget! It’s an amazing opportunity for our students to step away from their every day and experience Jesus with others! We will have students at the main camps for each grade, but if your student is into things like paintball, wilderness camping, or horseback riding, Hanging Rock provides specialty camps as well. Prices for camp increase on June 3. Click here for more information on all camps available and to register. Camp registration is based on the student's grade for 2024-2025.

HIGH SCHOOL TRIPS
High School students have a couple of opportunities this summer to get away for the day and enjoy time together. In June, it’s a trip to Royal Pins Woodland for bowling, laser tag, and mini-golf. In July, it’s a trip to Kings Island. Current 8th-12th grade students are invited to join us for these trips!

HIGH SCHOOL CIY OR CAMP
This year our high school students are heading to Johnson University for CIY. While we’ve reached our capacity for that trip, Hanging Rock also has camp options for high school students. If you have a student interested in camp at Hanging Rock, click here for more information.
STUDENT SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
Our kids ministry is hosting two elementary camps this summer on Kingsway’s campus. Both camps have various opportunities for students to volunteer. We’d love to see our students jumping in to serve! It’s a great opportunity to love on some kiddos and have a blast while doing it! Currently the greatest need is for volunteers at WinShape in July.
