So many people believe that you have to be perfect, that you have to have the perfect house, the perfect car, the perfect job, the perfect spouse and the perfect family. Perfection is unattainable. There is a lot that (un)Real Families can learn from one of the Bible's most imperfect - most real - families: the family of Jacob.

We gave our community the chance to put us to the test, to ask anything. And, the questions came in. Questions about life, relationships, eternity, sex, the Bible and more. Then, a panel of community members chose six of the questions they felt were the most important. And, the conversation began.

Right in the middle of the Bible, there's a story that you could easily miss. But you shouldn't. The story of Ruth is amazing. It has a lot to say about what love is. More importantly, about what love does. God does amazing things in and through the courageous acts of love performed by Ruth and a few important people in her life.

God, by very nature, is overwhelmingly big, good, loving, awesome and magnificent. If we're being honest, he can also be difficult to understand. Because what we believe about God is possibly the most important thing about us, we need to understand the nature and heard of the God who is three in one.

We have been given new life. Are we giving life back? We have been blessed. In turn, are we blessing others. God has rewarded us with so much. His calling is for us to turn right back around and bless those he puts in our path.

In the book of Isaiah, several hundred years before his birth, paints an amazingly accurate picture of Jesus' life, ministry, death and resurrection. We should be amazed at how God decisively moved in and through Jesus Christ. It's amazing, awe-inspiring ... indescribable.
