Daily Devotion

Read: Psalm 139:1-6

Reflection: In this Psalm, David expresses that God knows him, that He goes with him, that he watches over him, that He created everything, and that the knowledge He has, is too much for David. God doesn't just know everything though, He knows you. God doesn't just go everywhere, He goes with you. God didn't just create things, He created you. He has an intimate knowledge of you. You see David understood that God knew him better than he knew himself. What a humble place to be in. How many times though do we reject what God and his word says about us.  Today, take some time to pause and reflect how well God knows you. Ask him to reveal something new about Himself to you.  Ask God to reveal to you something new about yourself.  Seek to have the same intimacy with God that David had. That is what God desires. After all, David was a man after God's own heart. Write down what he tells you so you can go back to whenever you want.

Prayer: Papa we love you, today we invite you into this place and time with us, we ask you to reveal more of ourselves to us and reveal more of you to us, tell us something new today Father, Amen.
