June 29 - Daily Pause

READ: Psalm 138: 1-4

REFLECTION: What does it look like for us to give thanks to our God with our whole heart, with all that we are? Do we give Him glory for the big and small things, and recognize the ways He demonstrates His great love for us, ultimately all reflecting His sacrifice for us on the cross? Today, as you reflect upon His word, call upon His name and give thanks for the things He has done, believing in His faithfulness for the things He has yet to do. As you go through your day, write down in your phone or in a notebook some of the ways you’ve experienced God’s provision. Then, at the end of the day, reflect upon your list as you pray and give thanks to Him for His great love and faithfulness.

PRAYER: Lord, You are faithful to us, in both the valleys, on the mountaintops, and everywhere in between. Even when we can’t see or feel you working, we trust in You and know you are working all things together for our good. As we reflect on the simple ways we’ve seen you move today, may we be reminded of your steadfast love and trust that You will continue to draw us closer to You as You use us to glorify Your name. Strengthen our souls today as we give thanks to You Father, and make us more like You.
