June 24 - Daily Pause

June 24, 2020 | Kevin Wray

Read: Luke 19: 1-10

Reflection: As Jesus was passing through Jericho,  Zacchaeus, being a man small in stature climbed a tree just to be able to get a look at him. This was a man consumed by his business, his wealth, and his greed but at the notion of catching a glimpse of Christ, he dropped everything to climb a tree. Such a childlike action saved his life that day.

What is standing between you and Christ? Whatever it is, climb over it, lay it down, push it out of the way because Jesus is waiting. When you see and accept him. When you invite him in, he brings salvation to your house today......today...

Prayer: Father, we pray that your spirit gives us faith like children; that nothing seems more important to us than a relationship with you; that we lay down the barriers, and obstacles that separate us from your heart, Lord, and as we give our lives to you, you use them for your glory.  Amen.
