Daily Devotion

Read: Matthew 26: 6-13

Reflection: Jesus asked, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. What she has done will also be told in memory of her.”  When was the last time you did what was pleasing to the Lord over what was pleasing to people? Make a list of things you did this week to please God and then a list of things you did to please people? Will you ask God this week for wisdom in how to give God reverence in your daily life? 

Prayer: Dear Father I know that I have chosen to please others over you. When the action is not popular with the crowd help me, like Mary, show my faith and stand up for you.   I desire for you to show me your will in my daily choices and Lord help me approach you with respect and awe each and every day, let my actions reflect my holy awe of you and what you did on the cross for me. In Jesus Name, Amen
